There are different solutions for online learners depending on the situation.

  1. If you are an online student within driving distance to campus, email library@nelson.edu with a list of the books you need, and the day you will be able to visit campus to check them out, and we will gather them for you.
  2. If it is something small, like a copy of a few pages or a chapter, then we can copy that for you and send it to you by email.
  3. Or, we can see what is available online. If you live very close by, we might be able to mail a book to you, but for clarification, please call or email us at library@nelson.edu so we can provide assistance.
  4. If we mail a book to you, you will be responsible for mailing the book back to us and paying for your mailing expense.
  5. If you live very far away, and you need access to print books, we encourage you to work with a local library near where you live. If it is a participating TexShare, ACL, or AGTS Library, then we have an agreement with these libraries.

We are here to help you find what you need. Please contact us at library@nelson.edu to set up a phone call or virtual appointment if needed.
