Q: Why can't I reshelve books on my own?

We actually have a system for recording browsing statistics (i.e., tracking how many times a book has been used, even if it hasn't been checked out), as well as a specific system for shelving that our employees are trained in. While we appreciate your diligence, it's actually better for the library if you return books you've taken off the shelves to the front desk, rather than trying to reshelve them yourself!
