Yes! The library offers three ways to borrow books from other libraries.

  1. TexShare cards
  2. ACL reciprocal borrowing cards
  3. Nicholas P. Sims Library eCard

TexShare Cards

TexShare cards can be used at almost any Texas library to borrow that library's books. If you are an on-campus student or an online student living in Texas, we can issue you a TexShare card free of charge. Simply drop by the library or email us and ask for a TexShare card and we will happily make you one!

ACL Reciprocal Borrowing Card

Libraries part of the Association of Christian Librarians are able to freely borrow books from one another. If you live near any of the participating libraries and are interested in borrowing books from them, let us know! We can issue you an ACL card free of charge.

Nicholas P. Sims Library eCard

The public library in Waxahachie, Nicholas P. Sims Library, offers Nelson University students an eCard free of cost. Simply visit the public library and show them your Nelson ID to get started. The most notable resource available from Sims Library is their fiction eBook resource available through Overdrive/Libby.
